The designated project is anticipated to span a duration of 12 months. The ideal candidate will possess adeptness in the installation, configuration, fabrication, upkeep, and restoration of mechanical piping systems. An in-depth understanding of planning, layout, and the interpretation of piping system blueprints is a must. This role demands technical precision, adherence to safety norms, and robust physical endurance.Core Proficiencies Required:

  • Technical Mastery: Certified Journeyman Pipefitter status with relevant exposure in the field. Comprehensive understanding of tools, machinery, and safety protocols specific to the pipefitting domain. Expertise in deciphering pipe system blueprints and structural designs.
  • Piping Acumen: Hands-on experience with the assembly, maintenance, and mending of mechanical piping frameworks.
  • Physical Robustness: Capable of managing weighty equipment and materials. Comfortable with extended periods of standing, bending, and kneeling.
  • Safety Protocols: Strict compliance with all safety norms and regulations. Familiarity with safety gear usage.
  • Communication Prowess: Proficient in both written and oral communication to liaise effectively with peers and superiors.
  • Educational Credentials: At least a Grade 12 education or its equivalent.
Key Duties:
  • Oversee the installation, assembly, and upkeep of mechanical piping mechanisms.
  • Decode pipe system blueprints and architectural illustrations.
  • Handle and operate weighty machinery and tools.
  • Assess and scrutinize installed pipe systems and conduits.
  • Uphold all safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Team up with colleagues for the efficient realization of tasks.
  • Engage in additional tasks as delegated.
Operational Environment:
  • The role may sometimes demand working under varying climatic conditions, at elevated heights, and occasionally, within restricted zones.
  • It involves strenuous physical tasks, including hefty lifting and machinery operation.
  • Protective gear is mandatory throughout the operational hours.
