Job Description

At AvantSleep, we are committed to providing the highest quality in sleep therapy services across Canada. We provide clinical consultation and treatment for individuals diagnosed with Sleep Disordered Breathing conditions. We are dedicated to helping our patients improve their lives through better sleep.We have a great career opportunity for someone looking to join a team in the growing healthcare field of sleep medicine. This is a full-time position. On the job training will be provided.Position Description:The Sleep Clinician will be responsible for providing the following in person and virtually:

  • Education of Sleep Breathing Disorders to patients;
  • Explaining the use of CPAP/APAP devices and their accessories;
  • Selling required CPAP/APAP devices to patients;
  • Troubleshooting CPAP/APAP devices with patients;
  • Creating invoices, taking payment through point of sale (POS), and managing inventory;
  • Maintaining and obtaining medical documentation as per protocols;
  • Working with 3rd party insurance providers to obtain funding for equipment;
  • Any other duties as assigned.
Skillsamp; Qualifications
  • Any experience in the sleep field is considered an asset;
  • Professional and friendly with strong customer service values;
  • Ability to multi-task, assess situations and prioritize tasks accordingly;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Good listening skills coupled with great attention to detail;
  • Must be comfortable with hands-on patient interaction.
