Our clients include industry leading organizations who partner with us to be an extension of their HRamp; Recruitment function.Position: Buyer / Purchaser.Location: Peterborough, ON area.Salary: $62,000 - $72,000 per year (depending on experience).Industry: Manufacturing / Industrial / Purchaser / Supply Chain.Employment Term: Fulltime / Permanent.Rolesamp; Responsibilities:

• Purchasing duties for parts and materials the production system.
• Select suppliers and handle necessary negotiations.
• Analyze materials to meet production schedule.
• Work with different departments in regard to changes needed or to improve quality and processes.
• Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Qualificationsamp; Experience:

• Post-Secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 4 - 5 years related purchasing experience in a similar production industry.
• PMAC or CPIC designation highly preferred.
• Knowledge and capability to handle the successful negotiation and implementation of products and services contracts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
