If interested, please apply to this job.We plan to make hires on the spot, so come prepared to walk away with an employment offer!Position SummaryThe Cashier reports to the Component Manager and is responsible for the operation of cash registers, scanners, computers or other equipment to record and accept payment for the purchase of goods, services and admissions. The role has a strong focus on customer service.Responsibilities:

• Welcome/greet every customer and collect payments in a polite and efficient manner
• Verify daily menu, daily prices and be familiar with any promotions
• Ensure adequate supply of items by restocking and replenishing of products including but not limited to coffee, cold drinks, snacks, small wares, etc.
• Prepare products as required by customers including but not limited to sandwiches, pizza, beverages, etc.
• Restock refrigerators and salad bars and keep records of the quantities of food used
• Assist with inventory count when requested by a supervisor or manager
• Provide efficient service while maintaining excellent customer service as per Aramark and Franchise standards
• Ensure completion of cleaning duties as per the master cleaning list, temperature and cleaning logs
• Follow directions of the Lead Hand and/or Supervisor
• Adhere to Aramark and Franchise Policies and Procedures including Health and Safety
• Adhere to the Aramark Employee Handbook and Employee Trust Agreement
• Adhere to Aramark COVID PPE procedures
• Perform any other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager
• Adhere to the Aramark Cash Control Procedures
• Perform any other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager

Required skills/Experience:

• Some Secondary School is required
• Previous cashier experience
• Must be able to work in a high-stressed, fast paced environment
• Must be able to multi-task, work independently and as a team
• Must be reliable, dependable and trustworthy
• Must have strong customer service skills
• Must be able to work flexible hours and shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Must be able to read and write English
• First aid certification an asset
• Food handlers certification an asset
