PRHC supports and encourages you to pursue whatever path you choose.WHAT YOU’LL DO:The CYC, as a member of the Child Adolescent Unit inpatient multidisciplinary team, promotes a safe and therapeutic environment where patients are treated according to their individual needs.The CYC works with the patient, family and multidisciplinary team to promote patient mental and physical wellness. S/he, as a member of the health care team, and has a significant role in promoting health, preventing illness, and helping clients attain and maintain the highest level of health possible.WHAT YOU’LL BRING:Child and Youth Worker Diploma or equivalent.Demonstrated expertise in mental health service to children/adolescents and their families.Three years relevant work experience.Hospital or residential treatment setting experience including shift work .WHO YOU ARE:Proven excellent interpersonal relationships.Proven excellent communication skills (verbal, non-verbal and written).Demonstrated evidence of commitment to continuing education.Demonstrated knowledge of CYC scope of practice.Proven ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.Current BCLS.Valid CPI course or commitment to receive same within 3 months of hire.OUR COMMITMENT:At PRHC, we take great pride in maintaining an inclusive culture of respect and a diverse workforce that reflects the community we serve.
