Fleming offers more than 100 full-time programs in Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences, Fine Arts, General Arts and Science, Technology, Skilled Trades, Community Development, Health, Business, and Justice as well as other Continuing Education courses.We are also extremely proud of our more than 73,000 Fleming alumni who are contributing to their communities in the region, across the province and around the world.What Are We AboutPlease note this is a temporary part-time position (15 hours a week) from August 2022 - April 2023.As a member of the Health, Wellness and Accessible Education Services team the Counsellor will work collaboratively with students to help them develop insights, identify strengths, and enhance their personal resilience. Reporting to the Director, Health, Wellness and Accessibility Services the Counsellor will have multi-campus responsibilities in providing clinical and therapeutic support both in person and via WebEx with a focus on supporting students using a brief, goal-directed, stepped care model. Clinical duties include collaborating with students to determine their individual goals, challenges and areas requiring support to maximize their personal and academic success at Fleming.Counsellors should embrace working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and appreciate the values of collaboration, communication, and the opportunity to work closely with students.
