Job Description

Financial Analyst (Permanent, Full-time)Location: Peterborough, ONWork Arrangement: Hybrid; Combination on-site & remoteHours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per weekRate of Pay: Dependent on ExperiencePosition Description: As a Financial Analyst, you will:

  • Prepare regular financial reports, management reports, risk reports, and other reports as requested.
  • Develop and maintain analytical reports to provide detailed explanations of variances to plan.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of automated processes to produce the required reports and the annual budget with three-year projections.
  • On an ongoing basis assess and improve accounting processes paying particular attention to financial and management controls.
  • Conduct research and analysis as required to support management activities and complete assigned account reconciliations.
  • Perform other duties as may be required from time to time that are commensurate with the position.
Qualifications:
  • Post-Secondary Education in a relevant field.
  • Accounting Designation preferred.
  • Previous experience in a financial institution preferred.
  • Previous experience with FISRA (formerly DICO) reporting would be an asset.
