PRHC supports and encourages you to pursue whatever path you choose.WHAT YOU’LL DO:The Energy Analyst is responsible for preparing and implementing a comprehensive energy management plan and program.This includes the preparation of Business Cases, managing the purchasing process as per Broader Public Sector (BPS) Guidelines, and Project Management of the initiative associated with the program.As the hospital’s energy expert, the Energy Analyst will collect, monitor, analyze and report on energy data with the goal of improving energy efficiency, reducing energy consumption and avoiding energy costs.WHAT YOU’LL BRING:Certified Energy Manager (CEM) preferredPost-Secondary diploma or degree in a technology discipline is preferredProgressive experience with large distributed control systems within complex buildings/campuses are required. Experience must demonstrate advanced knowledge of:Building Automation SystemsFeedback and control hardware and theoryBuilding components controlled by the BASComputerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)Knowledge of, and experience with, BPS purchasing guidelinesDemonstrated Project Management skillsHealth Care experience is an assetExperience with the following systems is an asset:Delta Controls BASTranslogic pneumatic tube systemsEdwards Fireworks and EST fire alarmsMaintenance Edge by Dude Solutions computerized maintenance management system; and,Schneider Electrical Monitoring systemWHO YOU ARE:Excellent problem solving and analytical skillsExcellent interpersonal, team building, verbal and written communication skillsAbility to balance multiple work demands to achieve deadlines and reporting requirementsAbility to take initiative and act independently using good judgment as well as accept directionAble to multi-task and meet priorities in a fast paced environment;Aptitude for team-building and coaching;Change management skillsOUR COMMITMENT:Peterborough Regional Health Centre is committed to providing accessible employment practices that are in compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (‘AODA’).
