Our company is looking for a talented Lawn Technician to work with the owner of the business to provide clients with quality services. A successful candidate will have a love for working outside, enjoy multitasking and be able to keep up with a fast-paced environment. This is a part-time position, so candidates must be able to work Wednesdays through Saturdays from now until the end of the season which is typically the end of October to mid November ( weather dependingResponsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading equipment from the trailer
  • Light machine maintenance including adding fuel, checking oil, changing trimmer line
  • Cutting grass using a push-mower
  • Running a line trimmer
  • Use of a blower to clear debris
  • Manual labour including shovelling, raking, lifting, weeding
  • Install plants, shrubs, trees, and mulch
  • Maintain a clean, safe work zone
  • Communicate with your supervisor with any problems or concerns you may have
Requirements:
  • Must have a valid drivers license (G)
  • Must have the ability to operate a vehicle with a trailer
  • Must have experience running a line trimmer (weed whacker)
  • Must have transportation to and from work
  • Must be outgoing and have a mature and professional attitude
  • Must be punctual
Schedule:
  • 3-4 days per week
  • 8-12 hour shifts
  • Shift dates will vary depending on weather
Job Type: Part-timePart-time hours: 25-35 per weekSalary: $18.00-$20.00 per hourBenefits:

COVID-19 considerations:Required to wear a mask in the truck with the owner when driving from site to site.Experience:
