PURPOSE OF PROGRAM: To perform outdoor winter snow shovelling and de-icing procedures at the three Peterborough sites (Centennial Crescent,Stevenson Hall and Crossroads Shelter) under the direction of the Property Manager within approved policies, proceduresand budget.QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: * Proficiently and safely remove winter snow and ice hazards on an ‘as needed’ basis at three Peterborough sites (Centennial Crescent, Stevenson Hall and Crossroads Shelter). * To clear all outdoor walkways from snow and ice buildup. * Perform highly physical work outdoors on a consistent basis in all weather conditions, specifically very cold, icy, snowy weather. * It is required all Snow Removal Technicians have cold-weather gear and wear it appropriately to protect themselves against adverse weather conditions. * Work as part of a team and take direction. * Understand and meet contract scheduled deadlines without sacrificing great customer service or excellent quality. * Keep accurate timesheet records, submitted for review and signoff by the required deadlines. * Attend training classes as requested by management. * Perform other tasks or projects as assigned/instructed by the manager. * Current clear Criminal Record Check for Vulnerable Sector screening requiredJob Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual, SeasonalContract length: 4 monthsPart-time hours: 0 - 20 per weekSalary: $18.63-$19.78 per hourBenefits:
