Fleming offers more than 100 full-time programs in Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences, Fine Arts, General Arts and Science, Technology, Skilled Trades, Community Development, Health, Business, and Justice as well as other Continuing Education courses.We are also extremely proud of our more than 73,000 Fleming alumni who are contributing to their communities in the region, across the province and around the world.This is a temporary full-time role from August 3rd, 2021 to August 12, 2022Incumbent’s primary role is to analyze and ensure the accuracy of student accounts –including collection, evaluation, reconciliation and documentation for all student, staff and corporate payments, refunds, promissory notes and special payment arrangements for all Fleming College students including domestic, international, third party sponsorships and government programs.The incumbent will provide front line service to all campuses and departments as well as the general public, through the efficient processing of payments, credits & refunds, accurate account analysis and review, and adherence to college and industry standard policies and procedures.For a complete job description, please refer to the document found here: Job DescriptionExplore what Fleming College has to offer and the beautiful communities we are surrounded by. Check out Life@Fleming.A relevant combination of formal education and three (3) years of recent (within the last five years) related, practical work experience in Enterprise Resource Planning system within demonstrated accounts reconciliation experience, dealing with cashier/account receivables, wire transfers and direct bank deposits and other forms of payment.Experience working independently in a fast-paced front line service team environment, prioritizing and organizing own work with demonstrated experience in problem solving and analysis as it relates to a financial environment.Demonstrated excellence in customer service, human relations and communication skills (oral and written), interacting with customers from varying social, academic, economic and cultural backgrounds with empathy and tact. The majority of the customer service interactions are done through our customer inquiry platform, CERB.Strong planning and coordination skills with the experience independently prioritizing own work assignments to meet regular deadlines,Strong ability to multi-task in a busy environment while paying particular attention to detail and accuracyExperience interpreting information, policies and procedures; providing clear explanations to secure understandingExcellent analytical and creative problem solving skills, with experience resolving a diverse range of problems on a daily basisDemonstrated ability to develop and recommend creative solutions to address student needs and support student success.Experience dealing with sensitive and confidential information with a high level of personal integrity, referring to related policies and the F.O.I.
