The Student Development Case Management Specialist functions as a member of the Housing Services management team, providing advice from a social service lens to lead the development of policies and practices to enable co-curricular student learning and development. To create a safe and inclusive community, the role administers the Residence Community Standards and conduct framework to reduce recidivism. This involves the provisional of intensive case management to support the whole student as it relates to their living environment to develop resources and appropriate referrals to campus and community partners. You use diplomacy and tact to build rapport with a diverse range of students and staff at various levels of the organization. You have well-developed skills including, but not limited to mediation, conflict resolution, restorative justice, investigation and case management.
