Job Description

Subsidiary: Miller Paving LimitedLocation: Petersburg, ONAs a Driver, You Will:

• Safely and efficiently deliver aggregate and understand the basic aggregate characteristics
• Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism during all customer interactions
• Possess good knowledge of mapping of the Tri City region
• Follow legislated requirements and best practices for safe equipment and truck operation
• Report unsafe conditions and equipment and truck repair requirements, ensure reporting follows Miller’s Maintenance Program
• Participate in repairs and preventive maintenance where qualified
• Adhere to Miller’s Health & Safety Manual, and engage or participate in the Health & Safety Committee
• Ensure MTO, MOL and MOE documentation is complete and accurate
• Complete and submit daily vehicle inspections
• Complete documentation required by Miller’s Health & Safety Manual
• Promote Tri City Material’s services and products

What Youll Bring:

• Must possess an AZ or DZ licence with a clean Driver’s Abstract
• Understand the responsibilities of holding an AZ or DZ license, and operating in a safe manner
• Possess an understanding and ability to deliver gravel
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently
• Understanding of environmental and health & safety legislation
