Frederick Horticulture is a small landscape design, installation, and maintenance company that focuses on working with the environment not against it. We work on a variety of proprieties within Barrie and a few in the surrounding area. We work mainly with residential.Job Duties: -Working under the direction of the head gardener.-Maintenance and installation of gardens water features and small stone installations.- Load truck and trailer with necessary items for the day.-Empty truck and trailer of any garbage and items not needed for the next day.-Run machinery such as head trimmer, line trimmer, backpack blower, aerator etc.-Fill out the daily reporting sheet with precision.Application Requirments: -Must be able to commute to the yard every day.-Able to lift/push in excess of 50 lbs.- Able to identify common perennials and shrubs.-Ability to withstand long hot days.Job Types: Part-time, SeasonalPart-time hours: 30 per weekSalary: $17.00-$19.00 per hourSchedule:

• 10 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Phelpston, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
