Job DescriptionAs the captive finance company of the Audi, Ducati and Volkswagen brands in Canada, VW Credit Canada, Inc., also known as Audi Finance and Volkswagen Finance, is a wholly owned subsidiary of VW Credit, Inc. Audi Finance and Volkswagen Finance offers a wide range of leasing, retail financing and protection plans expertly tailored to meet the needs of our Customers. Additionally, we provide commercial financing products to Audi and Volkswagen Dealers to support expanding dealership capabilities and enhancing overall operations.VWFS Protection Services Inc., a whole owned subsidiary of VW Credit Inc., provides a range of vehicle protection products, including Vehicle Service Contacts, GAP and Excess Lease Wear Waivers, to U.S. VW, Audi and Ducati customers.Role SummaryThe Insurance Operations Specialist will be part of the North American Region (NAR) Insurance and Protection Products team and dedicated to supporting the attainment of the U.S. annual revenue and sales targets through the launch and ongoing management of insurance and protection products.The Insurance Operations Specialist is critical to the success of the program through the development and maintenance of internal business processes that are customer and dealer driven, value focused and profit/growth oriented.This role will work closely with the third-party administrator to manage program operations, reporting, claims processing, requirements related to the support of dealer Controlled Foreign Corporation’s (CFCs) and Non-Controlled Foreign Corporation’s (NCFC), federal and state regulation changes, and any required product forms changes.Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the U.S. Operations and OEM Relations Manager to effectively run all operational processes of the branded service contract and vehicle protection programs for VW, Audiamp; Ducati in the U.S. market
  • Work with Third-Part Administrators (“TPA”) and consultants to develop and maintain operational processes to meet VWFS’ strategic objectives.
  • Ensure effective business processes are set up and maintained and documented in the Program Manual: dealer setup / sales channel management, product and contract management system, transactional data and reporting
  • Administration of Dealer payments including incentive / bonus programs, monthly settlements via Brand’s Parts Statement and cessions to reinsurance dealers (premium cession)
  • Perform periodical data and operational audits (transactional and financial data) to ensure adherence to Administrative Agreement
  • In collaboration with Legal teams, ensure adequate licensing for all VWFS entities
  • Organize the set-up of dealer reinsurance programs and ensure dealer migration is successful and managed accordingly.
  • Provide operational support for dealers and VWFS field staff (network updates, parts statement billings, issue resolution)
  • Complete ad hoc reporting and special projects.
  • Report on the status of projects on a regular and timely basis.
  • Identify risk and Escalate along with mitigation and contingency options to VWFS PS Leadership team and Administrator when appropriate.
Required QualificationsFormal education
  • University degree required (Business / Finance or related area)
  • Related Masters or Graduate Degree an asset
  • Preferred: Insurance Certifications
Experience
  • 5+ years of OEM / Financial Services / Insurance experience related to automotive and/or financial products and services with a focus on operations, business process management and data management.
  • Preferably, 3-5 years of professional experience specific to operations of aftersales / insurance products and/or extended warranty service contracts.

Work schedule
