(NYSE:BBU)(TSX:BBU.UN) ( #39;Brookfield Business Partners #39;) (together the “corporate Partners”) to operate certain gaming facilities in the Greater Toronto Area (the #39;GTA Bundle #39;). The GTA Bundle is the largest award by the OLG as part of the modernization of its casino operations. In 2016, its three former facilities, OLG Slots at Woodbine, OLG Slots at Ajax Downs and Great Blue Heron Casino generated gross gaming revenue of over $1 billion. These facilities now have a combination of over 5,400 slot machines, 160 live table games and employ more than 2,800 team members. The Partnership brings considerable gaming, urban redevelopment and hospitality expertise to the operations and is strategically repositioning the GTA Bundle. This development (subject to ongoing approvals) and modernization will include integrated property expansions that will enhance the gaming offerings to service the GTA market. It will also include leading world-class amenities consisting of state-of-the-art conference facilities, hotels and premier entertainment venues.Position SummaryUnder the general direction of the Table Games, this position will be responsible for bringing energy and excitement to our stadiumamp; hybrid games, building loyalty with our patrons, maximizing the service in the Stadiumamp; Hybrid Games area, participating in promotional activities and events, and delivering a professional and exceptional level of customer service. This role will interact and partner with our Executive Hosts, Gaming Hosts, Leadership Team Members, and patrons on a regular basis. Above all, the Gaming Host Supervisor will provide a true and unique entertainment value to our patrons in the Stadiumamp; Hybrid Game areas by creating a buzz and real excitement.Key Responsibilities:Provides fun and exciting customer service to guests choosing to play on Stadiumamp; Hybrid Games;Responds professionally to all guest inquiries and requests;Engages in conversation with guests and creates loyalty by providing personalized guest experience;Demonstrates strong ability to improvise and provides entertainment value to guests;Using a live microphone, will attract attention to the Stadiumamp; Hybrid Game areas, enticing guests to join in the fun;Build on excitement of patrons, celebrating wins with genuine enthusiasm;Participate in special promotions as assigned, which may include working in costumes specific to the promotion or event;When necessary inform the Slot Technical team of any issues with the functioning of the Stadiumamp; Hybrid Game areas to ensure the games are operational;Other duties as assigned by the Table Games Management Team or delegate.Education and Qualification Requirements:2-3 years Customer Service experience in the entertainment or gaming industry preferred;Proven ability to communicate clearly and in a professional manner while injecting enthusiasm into your audience;Position DescriptionExperience utilizing a live microphone to communicate and entertain in front of groups between 3-18 people, possibly more;Must be detail oriented with the ability to watch and engage in conversation, multiple players in a live action environment;Strong ability to focus and not be distracted by activities around the live Stadiumamp; Hybrid Game play areas;Comfortable and able to easily adapt to new technology;Ability to sustain high levels of energy individually and cascading into the crowd in real time;Former experience in live stage theatre, or hosting entertainment venues preferred;Experience working with team members or independently in a live entertainment environment.Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;Fast paced with multiple priorities, action and excitement; exposure to some conflict, distress and noise;Must be embracing of dressing in costumes in line with various promotions;Standing for extended periods, must be able to bring liveliness to the area through flair movements and energetic movements;Ability to obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.Work Environment ConsiderationsFast paced with multiple priorities, deadlines and deliverables; exposure to some conflict, distress and noise;Standing for extended periods of time;This role requires a flexible schedule that adapts to the business needs of a 24 hour operation; will have non-traditional work hours including evening and weekend shifts.Special Working ConditionsOur reputation is of paramount importance. Existing team members will reapply as necessary, and continuing work will be dependent upon successful renewal.For positions that require additional certification, the appropriate level of certification must be maintained.
