Job Description

YOU MUST BE PRESENT IN ONTARIO TO APPLYWe are currently hiring Millwright Mechanic to work with one of our clients.Job Title: Millwright MechanicPosition Type: Full-Time/ PermanentHourly Pay: $40 per hourReference:- JobCart.caShift Available:

  • Morning Shift
  • 07:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Job Duties:
  • Repair and replace defective parts in various machinery various machinery including production machines, conveyors, fillers, tube fillers, packaging equipment, mixers, and DC controls, ensuring smooth operation of production equipment and plant infrastructure.
  • Provide technical guidance to operators and conduct machine setups while adhering to safety regulations and lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities and procedures for future reference.
  • Execute preventative maintenance schedules to prevent breakdowns and improve equipment longevity.
  • Foster vendor relationships, requisition parts, and coordinate vendor support for repairs and maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot irregularities in machinery and equipment, minimizing downtime and production interruptions.
  • Install new machinery and perform routine maintenance to optimize performance and ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Successful candidates will have the skills and experience required to work safely and independently or with others.
  • Must be a team player and work well with other employees.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with an innovative approach to solving mechanical problems.
  • Very strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge.
  • Ability to design, fabricate, and weld machine components.
  • Eager to learn and to train others.
  • Must be self-motivated, with basic computer skills such as email and Word documents (Microsoft Suite).
  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
  • Trade Certification experience is an asset.
