Corporate Tax AccountantOur client, a leader in providing personalized accounting and bookkeeping services to individuals, small businesses, and corporations, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to join their team. Based in Pointe-Claire, this role offers the opportunity to work directly with clients to support their accounting needs in a collaborative and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial statements, bookkeeping, and corporate tax returns, combined with excellent communication skills.What is in it for you:• Salary: $60.000 to $70.000 per year based on experience, with additional bonus pay.• This is a full-time, permanent position, 37.5 hours per week• Flexible in-office schedule: 8 am to 4 pm, 9 am to 5 pm, or 10 am to 6 pm.• 3 weeks of vacation and paid time off.• RRSP matching.• Dental, vision, extended health, life, and disability insurance.• Casual dress code and on-site parking.Responsibilities:• Prepare, review, and maintain financial statements in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.• Manage bookkeeping functions, ensuring accurate and timely entry of financial data.• Prepare and file corporate tax returns.• Conduct client meetings to discuss financial reports, tax filings, and other accounting needs.• Utilize DT Max and Caseware software for tax preparation and financial reporting.• Collaborate with internal teams to provide comprehensive financial services to clients.• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.What you will need to succeed:• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.• CPA designation is a plus but not required.• 3+ years of experience preparing financial statements.• 3+ years as a bookkeeping expert.• Fluent in English, conversational in French to support clients in both languages• Proficiency in DT Max and Caseware is an asset.Why Recruit ActionRecruit Action (agency permit: AP-2000003) provides recruitment services through quality support and a personalized approach to job seekers and businesses.
