ABB Marine & Ports operates in 26 countries and has 2,000 employees. www.abb.com/marine Sales and Account Manager for Marine Services drives the selected Sales and Business Development initiatives of offerings as well as towards new customers and markets. Is responsible for the overall customer relations and account. The success is measured by OR, GM, REV, NPS, and EBIT for selected offerings, business areas, and initiatives. Bringing initiatives from PowerPoint level to actual business and sustainable revenues and customer satisfaction, is the key. Global and Regional mindset. Planning and reporting duties are part of the role, as well as participation in Global and Group initiatives.This position reports toLocal Business Line Manager, Marine & PoYour responsibilities

  • Capable of forming professional and effective working relationships with customers and within teams
  • Identify needs of prospective customers, creative ideas about selling
  • Providing input, support, and leadership to development plans and initiatives
  • Assigned service business growth targets
  • Sales planning, leading sales pursuits, negotiates technical and commercial features of agreements in Sales and Partnerships
  • Improves Sales (OR), Gross margin (GM)
  • Input and responsibility for pricing of existing and new offerings in accordance with CoE pricing guidelines
  • Follow up with customers on existing and potential opportunities
Your background
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, and knows how to build commitment within diverse and fragmented environments
  • Available to travel >30% time
  • Bachelors degree and 8 years marine industry experience.
  • Customer Focused
  • High level of Sales and business development experience
  • Strategic and sales planning, with organizational planning and leadership experience
  • Good understanding of how to navigate within a large organization
  • Technical know-how in Marine service industry, preferably marine drives and automation systems.
