A privately owned company that started in 1969, kostklip® has grown to be one of North Americas leading designers and manufacturers of shelf edge labeling products.Job SummaryReporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Quality Control and Inventory Associate is responsible for performing quality control checks on parts produced in our manufacturing facility, as well as inbound raw materials and parts received from vendors and sub-contractors, in accordance with the companys quality policies and procedures. Other duties of the Quality Control and Inventory Associate may include receiving and counting inventory and recording inventory movements.Key responsibilities and accountabilities:Responsibilities shall include but not be limited to:· Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures related to the quality control of finished and unfinished goods and materials.· Maintain quality control documents and logs.· Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures related to the physical inventory of finished and unfinished goods and materials.· Receive, QC, and accept incoming materials and supplies.· Issue materials and supplies to production.· Select appropriate raw materials and components from designated store areas and issue them to production based on orders.· Audit all receipt/issue paperwork for accuracy and completeness, including part number, description, and quantity.· Assist in organizing and properly storing received goods as required.· Ensure a high standard of housekeeping/cleanliness in designated store areas.· Provide management with ideas and suggestions for continuous improvement.· Assist in maintaining manual stock records and the computerized inventory system.Key qualifications:· High school graduation certificate or Adult GED.· 1+ years of QC or warehouse experience is an asset.· Computer proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.· Excellent organizational and communication skills.· Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.· Experience operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, is an asset.· Willingness to learn.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSchedule:
