Job Description

Axe Throwing Team MemberWe are looking for someone Part Time for 2-3 shifts per week, mostly weekends, but also during the week.Shifts are 4, 6 and 8 hours, and we will be open from 11am to 11pm 7 days a week, you must be available every week on Fridays and Saturdays one will be a full 8-hour shift, the other a half shift (4-6 hours)Role Responsibilities:

  • Coaching participants in safe throwing practices
  • Responsible event set up and clean-up
  • Facilitating birthday parties and corporate events
  • Responsible for organizing and engaging party guests through interactive games and tournaments
  • A lot of sweeping up wood debris, and changing target boards
  • This position does require a drivers license (N or higher) and some heavy lifting (up to and over 50lbs.), we ask that you be physically fit and able to do manual labour.
Ideal Skills:
  • Has excellent communication skills
  • Is approachable, punctual, organized and mature
  • We have a Dress Code - Black Pants/Shoes and either branded Urban Axe hoodie or t-shirt, or plaid (of any colour) Lumberjack style shirt/jacket
  • Must be reliable and enthusiastic
  • Must be detailed oriented
  • Ability to use a tablet/smartphone (Android/Apple) with ease
  • You MUST have a valid Drivers license
  • You need to be over the age of 19 to serve alcohol
You are someone that likes to entertain. We pride ourselves on making sure that our guests are having a wonderful time while our axe-perts coach them through throwing, interactive games, and tournaments in a safe manner.Along with this, you are responsible and can set up and clean up in a timely manner. We deal with wood, and while experience is not necessary, you should be comfortable with basic power tools.Youll be responsible for the set-up, maintenance of axe lanes. You will spend time with clients at the Venue in PoCo and possibly at mobile sites during the summer, and be responsible for the safe throwing and use of all weapons demonstrated, as well as any other duties which may arise.We recommend that you be able to physically be able to lift up to 50lbs for extended periods of time without issue. There will be some light travel during the summer and fall to set up mobile throwing lanes.Job Types: Part-time, PermanentPart-time hours: 12-24 per weekSalary: $16.65-$25.00 per hourBenefits:
