Job Description

Are you looking for a rewarding career as a youth and adult behaviour interventionist No experience necessary - we will train you!Do you have a positive attitude, lots of energy and patience Do you want to make a difference and help our clients live their best livesArcus Community Resources is looking for caring and compassionate individuals to work with our clients on the Autism Spectrum or with other disorders. We provide 24 hr care in our group homes.We are looking for team members who believe in providing dignified and respectful care for our clients. We are there to help support our clients to live their best lives.Some things you will learn are:medication administration, tube feeding, personal care (toileting, showering, dressing), how to follow behaviour plans to minimize aggression, Non Violent Crisis Intervention, first aid and much more.We are looking for great people who can

  • work both days and evenings during the week and on weekends
  • overnight shifts may also be available
  • be available to work on all stat holidays
  • have a class 5 drivers license (not a class7/N)
  • have strong written and oral communication
  • can complete 2 criminal record checks and 3 reference checks
We have full time (40hrs), part time (32hrs) and casual shifts available in the Coquitlam, Maple Ridge, Abbotsford and Mission areas after the classroom training is completed.Our paid two week training runs Oct 24- Oct 28 and Oct 31-Nov 4.If are looking for a rewarding career - please do not hesitate to apply!Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, CasualPart-time hours: 24-40 per weekSalary: From $24.23 per hourSchedule:
