Distribution team. This role provides administrative and technical support in addition to ensuring compliance with established practices and procedures.The successful candidate possesses a strong combination of technical knowledge and skills, business acumen and initiative.   • Provides technical support and troubleshooting for new equipment set-up, handheld software and hardware support as well as DDS support for the Distribution group
  • Develops and maintains an understanding of RDO Policies and Contracts; maintains current RDO Policy Manual
  • Facilitates training and understanding of departmental policies and procedures
  • Ensures compliance with established accountability practices and procedures, contractual renewals and schedules, document procedures and paperwork submission as well as Route settlement; prepares reports and maintains records
  • Completes route reporting to a sku level analysis
  • Provides prompt feedback to RDO/LHO/DSD concerns and questions
  • Liaises with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the department; coordinates and participates in meetings, conference calls, training; prepares presentation materials
  • Participates in development of promotional activities; monitors participation and success
  • Assists in maintenance programs for the Saputo fleet
  • Load balancing of trailers.
  • Participates in Distribution Team Meetings and conference calls.
  • Various tracking, including expenses, business reviews, insurance, driver’s license updates, plant and Petro can, charge back as required.
  • Claims; Legal, including RDO setup/termination.
  • Liaison between customer service, warehouse, plant, sales, cheese branch and distribution as required
  • Other duties as assigned
You are best suited for the role if you…
  • Post-secondary education in General Business/Administration/Transportation an asset
  • Prior accounting experience preferred
  • Experience within Distribution and/or Sales environments
  • Working knowledge of Computer systems, Microsoft Office, Handheld Computer Technology, DDS and DSS systems
  • Expertise troubleshooting, providing technical support and communicating technical information
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Proficiency and dependability in current position
