About the Role:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Engineers to join our dynamic team. All Engineering disciplines are welcomed to apply! As an Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing various manufacturing and production processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall operational performance. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing workflow, reducing costs, and ensuring high-quality output within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of industrial and medical-related engineering principles.Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of manufacturing processes, including workflow, labor utilization, equipment utilization, and material flow, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Design and implement efficient and effective production systems, incorporating lean manufacturing principles, to optimize resource utilization and minimize waste.
  • Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process flowcharts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and supply chain, to identify and implement process improvements that enhance overall operational performance.
  • Utilize statistical methods and tools to gather and analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for process optimization and performance improvement.
  • Identify and evaluate new technologies, equipment, and systems that can improve manufacturing processes and contribute to cost savings or quality enhancements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance product quality, including the design and implementation of quality control systems and methodologies.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on manufacturing processes, equipment selection, and layout design to support new product development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement workstations, fixtures, and tools that improve ergonomics and reduce workplace injuries.
  • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to track process performance and identify areas for improvement.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in Engineering or a related field. Master #39;s degree is an asset.
  • Proven experience working as an Engineer or in a similar role within a related environment.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using industrial engineering software, statistical analysis tools, and computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make actionable recommendations.
  • Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles and experience implementing process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in data analysis and process documentation.
Compensation:
  • From $70,000 to $110,000 CAD per annum.
