Job Description

Job DescriptionWilson Pharmacy is an independent long-term care community pharmacy in Port Coquitlam. Our team has been serving the community for over 14 years.We are looking for a hard working, motivated individual with a strong work ethic to join our hard working pharmacy team. The role will start out as an assistant operating the packaging machines with the possibility to move to higher level tasks depending to skill level and performance.We are looking for an individual to work in a full-time (4 days a week, 10 hours a day), permanent position in the Pharmacy Assistant role as outlined below. The position will require availability from Monday to Saturdays, excluding stat holidays.JOB DESCRIPTIONKey responsibilities of a Pharmacy Assistant include:)

  • Compliance and blister packaging (via Pacmed and blister pack machine)
  • Receiving/managing inventory and stocking shelves
  • Organizing deliveries
  • General cleaning and organizing
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with Kroll software is an asset
  • Strong, self-directed work ethic and ability to multi-task is a must
  • Ability to work under high pressure and meet deadlines
  • Independent thinking and ability to solve problems
  • High attention to detail while being efficient and able to manage time
  • Quick learner and ability to adapt to new information and routines
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn
Salary: competitive wages based on experience and performanceExperience:
  • We will provide full training for the successful candidate
  • Pharmacy experience an asset, but not necessary
