Job Description

***Only applicants currently living in Canada will be considered***- Long-Distance CANADA Class 1 Drivers Needed for Trombone RGN trailer.- The driver can be located & live anywhere in the country.- We Work with the driver in his/her rotation to allow them to be around their family more often while they are working for us on the highways.- We are a Company based out of Fort McMurray, Alberta.- Preference given to Drivers that have U.S. experience, and double vaccinated, however it is not A must.Rates for Class 1 Drivers:- Great Rates, Hourly or Commission, too many Programs to fit the best candidate.- Full Benefits After 3 Months.- Minimum 3 Years’ Experience Required with Trombone RGN trailers.The purpose of the Tractor Trailer Driver position is to transport, deliver construction and heavy equipment in a professional, safe, and timely manner. He/she performs at a high standard of quality level within the branch and outside of the branch.Responsibilities:

  • Transport and deliver construction and heavy equipment.
  • Promote professionalism and have excellent customer service attitude.
  • Perform vehicle inspections before and after pickups and deliveries.
  • Ensure all delivery documents are properly maintained during the workday and are available for inspection upon request by management.
  • Secure construction equipment and other equipment by means of chaining, strapping, and blocking under the strict accordance and established procedures of the DOT policies.
  • Maintain open communication with Managers and/or central dispatch for delivery schedules.
  • Observe safety rules and regulations at customer job sites, facilities.
  • Report all accidents involving the driver or equipment to Branch Manager or Central Dispatch.
  • Promptly report any delays due to breakdowns, weather, traffic conditions, or any other problems relating to timely pickups or delivery of equipment.
  • Maintain flexibility in daily routine to respond to Management’s responses to the customer demands.
  • Ensure proper paperwork & logs are maintained accurately daily Requirements.
