Job Description

Ocean Paving Limited is looking for a qualified, experienced equipment operator/grading individual to join our Dynamic team.

  • 5 Years operating various equipment such as skidsteer, excavator, grader, roller.
  • Reading plans, understanding grade, and setting grade stakes and hubs
  • Measuring jobs for aggregate base course quantities
  • Daily tracking quantities of materials
  • Performing proof-rolls
Class 3 License preferredDemonstrated good judgment and discretion.Strong organizational skills with focus on accuracy.Able to follow established processes and/or document new processes.Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines all the while being detail-oriented.Excellent customer service skills and ability to function as part of a team.Works cooperatively with other employees, customers, clients, and the public.Able to handle multiple responsibilities at one timeGood oral and written communication skills.Strong leadership and demonstrated problem-solving skills as well as excellent time management and project management skills.Ensures all of the grading work is prepared and finished prior to and subsequently to the paving job.Take leadership role in safety functions including personal safety, traffic control management, and toolbox safety meeting requirements.Monitor measure and report on operational key performance indicators including daily production, downtime, overtime, production rate and other operating metrics.Job Types: Full-time, SeasonalSalary: Up to $30,000.00 per yearBenefits:
