Job Description

Canso Ford is looking for a Sales and Finance Coordinator to join its high performing sales team in Port Hawkesbury. This is a multifaceted position that will give the ideal candidate experience in all aspects of the sales process, as well as marketing, administration, and finance.We are looking for an organized, engaged candidate with excellent communication skills and a keen interest in the retail automotive industry. We encourage recent graduates with business and/or marketing backgrounds to apply.What would be your duties as the Sales and Finance Coordinator at Canso FordThe Sales and Finance Coordinator at Canso Ford is responsible for the daily, smooth operation of the sales department to provide unparalleled customer service and satisfaction while assisting our Sales Consultants, Sales Manager, Finance Manager, and General Manager when and where necessary. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting Sales Consultants with offering test drives, vehicle demonstrations with explanations of vehicle technologies and safety equipment.
  • Helping Sales Consultants desk deals.
  • Processing lease and finance deals and reporting sold vehicles accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist the Sales Manager with the reconditioning process of used vehicles.
  • Manage sales department administrative tasks such as coordination of dealer trades, vehicle registrations at access Nova Scotia, etc.
  • Work with the Marketing Manager with the dealership’s website and promotion material.
What qualifications and skills are we looking for
  • College diploma and/or degree in business considered an asset.
  • A passion for customer satisfaction & sales.
  • Experience in sales and financing considered an asset, but not required.
  • Ability to complete required administrative duties accurately and efficiently.
  • Valid driver’s license (driving record check required).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment to achieve common goals.
