Job Description

We are seeking a licensed Journeyman Plumber (306A) to join our client #39;s maintenance team in Cobourg, ON region.Shift - 12 hours continental rotationPay - $50 -$56/hr Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine plumbing layout and requirements.
  • Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drainage systems, fixtures, and related equipment.
  • Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and valves using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Test plumbing systems for leaks, pressure, and proper operation.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, recommending effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with contractors, apprentices, and other trades to complete projects on time.
  • Ensure compliance with Ontario Building Code, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Train and mentor apprentices when required.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications
  • Valid Ontario 306A Journeyperson Plumber Certificate of Qualification.
  • Minimum 3years of relevant plumbing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in using plumbing tools and equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Valid driver #39;s license (preferred).
