Job Description

The summer programming student will assist the Programming and Community Engagement Coordinator in the planning, designing and implementation of summer programs for 2024.Education, Skills and Experience

  • Post-secondary, college, or university student
  • Enrollment in a library technician or recreational/educational program would be an asset
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Customer service skills including conflict resolution, teamwork, professional work ethic and commitment to excellence
  • Experience working with children
  • Access to transportation and current driver’s license
  • Vulnerable sector police record check required
The position will start mid-May 2024. Full-time role and hours per week may include days, evenings and occasional Saturdays. Work sites will include both the Mary J.
