Job Description

Great full time permanent positions available for 12 X 4th Class Power engineers to work at a new manufacturing facility! Salary + benefitsAgilus is recruiting for a Production Operator (4th Class) in the Manufacturing Industry in Port Moody, British Columbia. Primary focus will be blending, packaging and other manufacturing tasks, will also be responsible to check the boilers every hour and take readings/make minor adjustments. The role of the Production Operator includes, but is not limited to, all phases of batch processing and packaging. This includes all manual charges and sampling of reactors and blend tanks. Production Operators will perform all required SAP functions in a timely manner Responsibilities:

  • Staging and charging of raw materials and completion of all associated documentation
  • Loading finished products into tank trucks, drums, totes and other packaging.
  • Accurately weighing and recording material charges and times on documents and in database
  • Support plant EHS, Maintenance and Utility personnel as directed by management, may require moving pallets using forklift (empty, raw material or product) and movement of drums, hoses and valve operation, including opening and closing manual valves.
  • Use Distributive Control System (DCS) to move materials and increase production efficiency
Successful candidates will have:
  • 4th Class Power Engineering qualification
  • Computer skills (DCS, SAP, Microsoft Office, etc.)
  • Math skills (inc. weights, measures and conversions).
  • Understanding of process equipment regarding function and assist maintenance in feedback to maintain the equipment
  • Lift and control a minimum of 50 lbs. load from floor level to standing position
  • Work in both indoor and outdoor environments year-round.
