Job Description

Position Summary:Under the direction of the Executive Housekeeper, this position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of assigned guest #39;s rooms and public areas of the Resort.Key Accountabilities:

• Making beds, changing linen, vacuuming and cleaning as per policies and procedure
• Providing the rooms with fresh towels and toiletries
• Restocking inventories as required
• Answering guests #39; questions
• Checking that TVs, radios, lights and AC/Heating are in proper working order
• Dusting and polishing furniture
• Scrubbing floors, walls and windows as required
• Emptying and cleaning waste paper baskets and ashtrays
• Removing linens and garbage to appropriate bins
• Shampooing carpets as directed and required
• Reporting damages to Team Leader or Manager
• Liaising and communicating effectively with all appropriate operational departments
• Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
• Performing other duties as assigned or directed

Education and Qualification Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Previous housekeeping experience an asset

Work Environment Considerations: Some exposure to heat, cold, wind, rain, snow, fumes, dirt, chemicals, standing for long periods of time, carrying, lifting, pulling, pushing, non-traditional work hoursCompliance Requirements:Every team member must comply with all requirements of the Corporate Ethics and Conduct Manual and with all other corporate policies as communicated.
