Job Description

The US HP.com Category Business Management team has an exciting opportunity for a role focused on data analysis, systems development and operational support to drive HP.com eCommerce business growth across all product categories including PCs, Displays, Accessories, Printers and Supplies.Primary responsibilities include developing and managing tools, systems and reports used across by the US Hp.com category team to generate data-driven business insights and gain efficiencies. Specific focus areas include support and development of Excel-based tools that are connected to backend systems thru SQL queries and SSIS packages to summarize and communicate key business information across various functional teams in the organization, and creation of new Tableau and/or PowerBI dashboards that will scale existing reports. In addition, in this role you #39;ll also have an opportunity to support systems and reports used to track digital marketing activities and reconcile them with financials; you #39;ll be asked to automate existing business processes and workflows, and will work with a variety of team members to learn how those processes are currently established and where enhancement opportunities exist.Knowledgeamp; Skills

  • Solid technical skills, understanding of interpreting dataamp; analysis to solve business problems.
  • Strong analytics and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to analyze and manipulate data using Excel and/or Google Sheets.
  • Experience in Excel #39;s advanced functions and queries for database access.
  • Experience in SQL programming and/or similar languages.
  • Experience in SSIS packages and data manipulation working with large databases.
  • Experience with Data visualization software (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) and development of dashboards.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of e-Commerce business fundamentals.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of product marketing fundamentals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to effectively collaborate with virtual teams.
  • Experience in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop analytical models and identify productivity improvement opportunities.
  • Understanding of Project/Program management fundamentals is a plus.
Education and Experience Required
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Statistics, Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 5+ years of work experience in data analysis and automation or related field.
  • MS SQL-related Certifications preferred.
