In turn, we offer an award-winning environment that fosters a people-first culture with a high priority on your personal and professional growth.Your OpportunityWe are looking for a Senior Consultant, to join BDO Lixar #39;s Cloud Security Engineering team and own the following responsibilities:

• Ability to collaborate with clients and internal team members to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
• Deliver high quality work in collaboration with other teams on time and within budget.
• Perform reviews of cloud security architectures/implementations and provide risk-based recommendations.
• Educate and communicate cloud security requirements, policies, standards, and procedures to business/internal stakeholders as it relates to projects and strategic initiatives.
• Assess and implement industry-leading security solutions and practices around cyber risks and Cloud security for clients.
• Work with multiple cloud service providers including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform, and various security vendors to understand their solution offerings and advise clients on appropriate technologies and architectures, based on their needs.
• Participate in the creation of security documents (operational frameworks, policies, standards, baselines, guidelines, and procedures) specific to cloud environments.
• Assist in the identification of automation opportunities both internally and for clients.
• Serve as an intermediate cyber security advisor to our various clients and team initiatives as it relates to new cloud platforms and emerging cloud technologies.
• Develop comprehensive and accurate reports and presentations for both technical and executive audiences.
• Ability to collaborate with clients and internal team members to ensure project goals and objectives are clearly defined and achievable.
• Execute the implementation of security controls.
• Research current cloud security technology advancements, trends, and directions to enhance existing service offerings andor client challenges.
• Participate in the development of solutions to address client #39;s unique cloud security challenges.
• Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process.

Your experience and educationYou have at least 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience and firsthand experience with:

• Experience with various areas of cloud security, including identity and access management, logging and monitoring, data security and cloud reference architecture.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts
• Knowledge of application security concepts and overall application design and architecture
• Familiarity with security assessment and audit standards for the cloud - Cloud Security Alliance CCM, CIS, NIST Cloud Reference Architecture
• Knowledge of security threats in the cloud and how to remediate and implement controls.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure andor Google Cloud
• Ability to work within team both in-person and virtually.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Articulate complex technical concepts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide concise documentation.
• Ability to draft comprehensive proposals and reports to communicate technical information to various stakeholders.
• One or more cloud service platforms including Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform
• Conducting Cloud security assessments against leading standards such as NIST Cloud Computing Standard, the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), etc.
• Facets of Cloud security, including access management, monitoring, auditing, preventative architectures, data encryption and mitigation
• Performing security reviews of planned Cloud migration initiatives across the organization and produce high quality threat models for Cloud environments clearly articulating risks.
• Performing reviews on Cloud security engagements during distinct phases of the lifecycle - assess, design, and implementation.

• SANS Institute - CIS Critical Security Controls
• The Cloud Security Alliance Cloud Controls Matrix (CCM)
• OWASP Top Ten
• NIST Standards
• Cybersecurity Best Practices

It #39;s an asset if you have one or more of the following certifications and/or education:

• College Diploma or University Degree in Cyber Security, Information Security or Computer Science
• Advanced certification in one or more cloud service platforms including Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform
