Job Description

DESCRIPTIONDo you want to build software that empowers artists to create amazing animated content Do you want to transform an entire market segment Do you like working in a team with a rich diversity of backgroundsAWS is excited to share that we #39;re building a new service from the ground up for the Mediaamp; Entertainment industry.Check out what our customers can create with our tech: https://www.youtube.com/watchv=Mv3RcULV-DIThis is a unique and rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor within a fast-growing business and help shape the technology powering analytical workloads for Fortune 500 companies, startups, and everything in between. You will bring deep technical, algorithmic and coding expertise with the ability to work within a fast moving and collaborative environment in the industry leading cloud company to deliver a broad business impact. If this sounds exciting to you - come build the future with us!Key job responsibilitiesOur Support Engineer interns find and provide solutions to customers to solve unique problems, including in software we don #39;t own. That occasionally leads to building solutions to solve those problems the first time so they don #39;t occur again (docs, scripts, etc). As an example, we work directly with our customers to integrate our tools into existing pipelines and supply fixes from the field into our products. While doing that, interns also manage customer expectations and escalate when a design may not be optimal. Given our interactions with customers, we provide feedback to product and engineering teams as they design new features and we contribute to the improvement of our software. Interns learn to become individual experts in one or two domains of our products, learning large amounts of information in a continually changing fast-paced environment. You #39;ll be doing the same with our help. Ideally, you #39;re also excited by strange fresh problems.About the teamAWS Thinkbox creates products and solutions for creative professionals whether they are working on-premises, hybrid, or completely in the cloud. Originating from a small tech company in Winnipeg, we retain our focus on building services for the Mediaamp; Entertainment industry.Inclusive Team CultureHere at AWS, we embrace our differences. Amazon #39;s culture of inclusion is reinforced within our 14 Leadership Principles, which remind team members to seek diverse perspectives, learn and be curious, and earn trust.Work/Life BalanceOur team puts a high value on work-live balance. It isn #39;t about how many hours you spend at home or at work; it #39;s about the flow you establish that brings energy to both parts of your life. We believe striking the right balance between your personal and professional life is critical to life-long happiness and fulfillment. We offer flexibility in working hours and encourage you to find your own balance between your work and personal lives.Mentorship OpportunitiesOur team is dedicated to supporting new members.
