Job responsibilities:-Troubleshoot/inspect equipment to detect faults/malfunctions-Adjust equipment to specifications, and repair or replace defective parts-Keep maintenance records and documentation-Order/purchase required parts and shop supplies-Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work-Maintain a tidy and organized work space-Perform repair work on heavy trucks-Service attachments and working tools-Welding (electric arc and/or MIG) of steel components-Safely and effectively operate heavy equipment and farm vehiclesJob requirements:-The ability and willingness to learn English-Attention to detail and the ability to properly follow instructions given-Must work well with and properly communicate with others in a team-setting-Wear steel-toed safety boots and other PPE (based on task requirements)-Physically demanding requiring bending, crouching and kneeling for extended periods of time. Also, requires manual dexterity and the ability to handle up to 100 lbs (45 kg).Benefits:Free accommodation provided until April 30. We will assist employee in finding housing beginning May 1. Company vehicle provided for first 8 months of employment for business and personal use.Specific requirements:Must have a valid Drivers License.Preference will be given to candidates with basic knowledge of English. But willing to consider other candidates who have a remedial understanding of English.Comments:Tools and shop supplies will be provided.
