Are you a level 1 or 2 carpenter #39;s helper looking for an atmosphere where you are supported in a positive culture while progressing toward your career goals We are currently looking for an Carpenter #39;s Helper to join our team in the Portage la Prairie, MB. The role will perform a variety of residential construction-related duties to support the delivery of project schedules. The Carpenter #39;s Helper must have working knowledge of the residential construction industry and uphold the highest safety standards while on the job.Your contributions to the team:

• General carpentry such as framing, hoarding and other activities as assigned
• Build or assist in back framing, stair forming and site amenities
• Fabricate and install wooden components according to specifications
• Operate hand and power tools
• Practice workplace safety at all time
• Perform other duties as required

What you need to be successful:

• Experience in wood frame residential construction
• Demonstrated knowledge of all building techniques, building codes, and safety regulations
• Established excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Physical ability to work in all weather conditions
