With plenty of opportunities for employee training, professional development and employee wellness programs, a healthy work-life balance is encouraged.About the opportunity:Working within the Aquatics Division you will be responsible for maintenance, repair and custodial duties for various operating systems, pools and buildings. The work also involves maintaining good water quality and making necessary adjustments to pool chemistry and related mechanical systems as required. You will work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. About your background:Qualifications include a Grade 12 diploma, and you ideally have 2 years of relevant experience. You have demonstrated competency with the operation of related tools and equipment. You enjoy working in a proactive team environment and have a commitment to quality service excellence. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed Pool Operators 1 course. Pool Operator 2 course to be obtained within six months. As a condition of employment, the incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a clear Police Information Check for offenses related to the position.
