Job Title Dental Assisting Instructor - To Garner ApplicationsFaculty Appointment Types Part-timeJob Summary The College of New Caledonia is recruiting for a casual part time faculty appointment in the Dental Assisting program. The successful candidate will be involved in teaching clinical courses. You will be part of an education team at CNC, engaged in contributing to, and supporting student’s and the College’s vision, Strategic Plan, Educational Plan and goals. In addition, you will contribute to a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that allows you to interact with students, co-workers, management and external partners.Skillsamp; Qualifications Minimum:● Licensing with the British Columbia College of Oral Health Professionals (BCCOHP) or eligibility for licensure with BCCOHP.● 3 years of recent, full-time experience in the dental assisting profession.● Computer literacy including use of electronic learning platforms.● A combination of education and teaching experience will be consideredPreferred:• Diversity in dental employment experience.• BC Provincial Instructor Diploma Program (PIDP) or similar courses.
