About the position:Currently, we are seeking a Project Manager to join our Building Automation Controls team in the BC Interior or North, reporting to the Operations Manager, Technologies. This position can be based at any Houle location in the BC Interior or North, including Prince George, Kamloops, Kelowna and Kitimat. The successful candidate will work closely with field teams (and technicians (designers, programmers) to achieve project performance, budget and schedule targets. They will be responsible for providing client communications, project progress reports and labour forecasting. Project Manager Responsibilities: Identify potential business opportunitiesMaintain good relationship with suppliers, consultants, general contractors and end usersManage all areas of the project including, contract management, financials, schedules, labour requirements, materials, deficiencies, etc.Estimate changes, complete required paperwork and ensure that the job is billed out Houle is paidReview reports and provide analytics to project teamArrange for project manuals to be completedEnsure that as-built drawings are completed and sent to the ownerWork onsite with the foreman and superintendent as a team to review the project documents, and assess success and challenges, once the project is completeProject Manager Qualifications:3-5 years project management experience with relevant education/training. PMP certification an asset. Solid technical knowledge of Building Automation Controls with trades qualification as an assetRisk management, change management and contract administration knowledge preferredExperience working within the Technology Industry and familiarity with local consultants and engineers preferredStrong computer skills required including proficiency with MS Office, Procore and Accubid Must be organized and able to manage many projects at one timeMust have strong conflict resolution skills and customer service skillsMust have excellent team work and strong interpersonal skillsValid driver #39;s license in good standing with access to a personal vehicleStrong English language and communication skillsAbout Houle:At Houle, we are passionate about building resilient communities.
