Job Description

What You’ll DoAs a Field Engineer, you’ll be a key part of our project delivery team. You’ll provide technical and project control support, making sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll bring plans to life and help turn drawings into reality.ResponsibilitiesAs a Field Engineer, you’ll support day-to-day project execution by bridging the gap between design and construction. Your work will be essential to keeping things moving smoothly, safely, and to spec. You will:
  • Interpret drawings and specifications to provide guidance to crews and subcontractors
  • Monitor site conditions and ensure work aligns with plans, quality standards, and safety protocols
  • Perform quantity take-offs and field measurements for planning, procurement, and reporting
  • Track project progress, assist with schedule updates, and document field activities
  • Support procurement by generating purchase orders and coordinating with vendors
  • Assist in preparing as-built drawings and turnover packages
  • Identify field issues early and collaborate with the team to find practical solutions
  • Participate in short-term planning, ensuring readiness of materials, manpower, and information
  • Communicate with internal teams and subcontractors to coordinate tasks and resolve issues.
  • May perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • A degree or diploma in Civil, Construction, or a related Engineering field
  • 1–3 years of experience in a Field Engineer or Coordinator role
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and codes
  • Great problem-solving and organization skills
  • Confidence working with drawings, schedules, and specifications
  • Tech-savviness (Excel, Word, MS Project, Acrobat Pro)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
