Heavy Equipment Fuel and Lube TechnicianCompanyIDL Projects Inc. We have established ourselves as a go-to solutions provider in the construction areas of civil and infrastructure, commercial, residential, public and institutional, industrial, energy, mining and safety services.Position SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated Heavy Equipment Serviceperson to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our heavy equipment fleet. As a Fuel and Lube Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all heavy machinery receives the proper maintenance, including fueling, oil changes, and lubrication. Your work will directly impact the smooth operation of our equipment, thereby supporting our project goals and timelines.This position is based in Prince Rupert, BC and may require travelling and working on a rotational basis.Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular fueling and lubrication services on various types of heavy machinery.
  • Perform routine checks and maintenance of equipment, including oil changes and filter replacements.
  • Manage inventory of fuel, oils, and lubricants.
  • Identify and report any issues or irregularities in equipment performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations during service operations.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and effective services.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
Qualifications
  • Must possess a minimum of a Class 3 license.
  • Must have valid air brakes endorsement.
  • Proven experience in servicing heavy equipment, particularly in fueling and lubrication.
  • Strong knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
