Job Description

Construction Labourers/ FlaggersAt Golderado, were constantly pushing the limits of what weve done in the past - propelling ourselves toward bigger and better opportunities, while exploring new market sectors and services. We hire these types of people knowing they are as diverse as we are, and they come on board because they share our core values.In the position of an upcoming job for Construction Labourer, we would ask you to do the following:

  • Handle and distribute construction materials (e.g., load and unload vehicles with supplies, equipment and construction materials; move tools, equipment and construction materials to and from work areas; remove rubble and other debris)
  • Assemble and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades at construction sites
  • Prepare and clean up construction sites, move materials and equipment, and perform demolition, excavation and compaction activities
  • Work on a road widening project
Sounds challenging and exciting right Here are a few of the attributes and experience you need to be successful in this position:
  • Must have CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, Ground Disturbance 201
  • Flagging ticket
  • You have a minimum of 1-2 years experience as a labourer
  • You have experience in using compactors and trampers (jumping jack)
  • You are able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) 9-23 Kg You have a safety conscious attitude and able to work with others in a team
  • Valid drivers license - Drivers Abstract is required
  • Drug and Alcohol Screening required.
