Job Description

Are you an artist and passionate about creating characters in the video game industry Are you creative and able to adapt to different artistic styles Bkom is adding a member to its team and this is your chance to join us as a 3D character artist!

  • 3D modeling of visual material, with a primary focus on faces, physics and clothing;
  • Creation of Blend shapes, topologies and optimized meshes;
  • Creation of textures and UV unfolding;
  • Creation of PBR materials for characters;
  • Collaborate with level design teams;
  • Collaborate with technical artists to specify shaders and tools;
  • Determine the artistic needs of the project to meet expectations.
Profil
  • Have more than 5 years of experience in the video game industry;
  • Proficiency in software, Maya, Zbrush , Substance Painter and Marvelous Designer;
  • Knowledge of the Unreal Engine 5 and Unity game engine;
  • Knowledge of human and animal anatomy and movement;
  • Passionate about video games and motivated by content creation;
  • Knowledge of traditional drawing and illustration (relief, light, material, perspective, color);
  • Good knowledge of PBR techniques;
  • Communicate clearly and concisely and be able to popularize concepts and ideas;
  • Demonstrate autonomy, initiative and good organizational skills;
  • Able to estimate work time, manage priorities and meet deadlines;
  • Be aware of the evolution of the industry and is always looking for better work methods and tools to ensure a superior quality production;
  • Be creative and adaptable to different types of artistic styles;
  • Knowledge of the Substance Designer tool (asset);
  • Knowledge of Shader construction, Rig and animation (asset).
