S/He will be responsible for opportunities which will have been identified either through key partners, been escalated from Inside Sales or part of new customer acquisition activity. You will have the ability to work in a matrixed environment, and take advantage of the resources available to drive your success.Primary Responsibilities:The Account Manager will focus on developing top accounts in Alberta.This individual will engage resources, including BUs, marketing, SEs, and partner account managers to drive successCreate a consistent cadence to driving partner-led demand generation, call campaigns, with strong opportunity management skillsExecutive selling skills required, to include various CxOs, IT Management, and other key Decision-MakersRelationship management skills that translate into identifying decision-makers and influencersManage opportunities, quota attainment, sales presentations, short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunity managementResponsible for building 3 Month, 6 Month and 9 Month pipelinesReporting line will be through the Regional Director Sales ManagerCandidate Required Background:Minimum 6-8 years experience on networking andor security sales is desirable in addition to a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferredReferenceable track record of successful sales experience within regionStrong track record of driving sales ad working with channel partners in Enterprise accountsExperience developing sales strategies, preparing proposals and quotes and presenting networking productsBroad-based technological awareness in the internetworking industry, complemented by knowledge of data networking concepts, with specific skills in the area of routing and switchingExcellent communication skills, both written and oralStrong presenter and closer with the ability to demonstrate the necessary skills to negotiate issues with peers, partners and customers using a Win/Win philosophyCreative innovator who is a proactive team player, with a proven track record working in matrixed environmentsExcellent business acumenGood relationship building and consultative skillsAbility to prioritize in a dynamic, changing environmentAbility to Travel
