Overview:English version will followLe Centre de santé Tulattavik de L’Ungava est situé à Kuujjuaq. Il dispense l’ensemble des services de santé et services sociaux dans la partie est du Nunavik. Il dessert sept communautés Inuites avec autant de CLSC, un centre pour personnes âgées et un centre hospitalier à Kuujjuaq. Il emploie environ 1,000 employés : administrateurs, professionnels, médecins, dentistes, psychologues, infirmiers, travailleurs sociaux, personnel de soutien, employés occasionnels, etc.Les communautés du Nunavik sont situées au nord du 55e parallèle où prévaut un climat subarctique. Il entraîne l’existence d’un pergélisol et ne permet aucune agriculture. Le Nunavik est la plus grande région couvrant environ le tiers de la superficie globale du Québec. Aucune liaison routière n’existe entre les communautés du Nunavik et le Québec méridional, ni entre les communautés du Nunavik elles-mêmes. On a accès à cette région et à ses communautés que par avion et par bateau.Poste temporaire à temps partielQuart de travail sur rotation jour/soir/fin de semaine 85.75 hres/28 jours – 5.5jrs de travail sur 14 jrsSITE : ULLURIAQ (unité pour garçons)SUPÉRIEUR IMMÉDIAT: Chef de programmes en réadaptationDIRECTION : Direction régionale des services de réadaptationDÉBUT DE LA FONCTION : Dès que possibleFONCTIONS:Assure l’éducation et la rééducation des usagers placés en centre de réadaptation en vertu de la LPJ ou LSJPA selon les programmes d’intervention établis en collaboration avec l’équipe de professionnels en place, en vue de la réadaptation de l’usager et/ou de sa réinsertion dans la société. Applique des techniques d’éducation en utilisant les actes de la vie quotidienne, en organisant, coordonnant et animant les activités prévues au programme du service, pour assurer l’apprentissage et l’acquisition d’attitudes et de comportements adéquats. Observe et analyse le comportement des usagers, participe à l’évaluation de leurs besoins et de leurs capacités et note leur évolution en rédigeant les documents appropriés. Collabore avec les intervenants sociaux dans l’élaboration des plans d’intervention en fonction des besoins des clients et du mandat légal confié. Le but est de mettre fin à la situation de compromission et éviter les placements multiples. En dernier recours et lors d’un danger imminent, l’éducateur pourrait être amené à intervenir physiquement auprès de la clientèle.Responsibilities:Classe 1 : Posséder un diplôme collégial avec une concentration en techniques déducation spécialisées ou en réadaptation institutionnelle ou une technique dintervention en délinquance dune école reconnue par le ministère de lÉducation, du Loisir et du Sport.Classe 2 : détenir un baccalauréat en psychoéducation, en psychologie, en criminologie, en travail social ou un autre diplôme pertinent de 14 ans de scolarité reconnu par le ministère de lÉducation, du Loisir et du Sport ou avoir complété cinquante pour cent (50 %) des techniques pédagogiques spécialisées ou de réadaptation institutionnelle ou une technique dintervention en délinquance.Bilinguisme essentiel (français anglais), parlés et écrits; Inuktitut serait un atoutMinimum de 2 ans d’expérience pertinenteAvoir une bonne capacité d’adaptation à un milieu culturel différentÊtre sensible, compréhensif et mature et démontrer une attitude positiveÊtre disponible pour travailler le jour, en soirée et les fins de semaineÊtre capable d’intervenir physiquement lors de situation de criseAccepter de participer à toute formation offerte par lemployeur ou une institution d’enseignement jugée nécessaire pour un exercice plus efficace de ses tâches et fonctionsPartager ses connaissances et habilités, travailler en collaborationQualifications:SALAIRE :Classe 1 : Min :24.78 $ /heure Max : 35.67 $/ heureClasse 2 : Min :23.97 $ /heure Max : 35.67 $/ heure************************************************************************************************************************************************The Ungava Tulattavik Health Center is located in Kuujjuaq and offers the whole health and social services in the eastern part of Nunavik. Serving seven Inuit communities with an equal number of CLSC, a center for the elderly and the hospital in Kuujjuaq, it employs approximately 1,000 employees: administrators, professionals, doctors, dentists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, support staff, etc.Nunavik communities are located north of the 55th parallel where a subarctic climate prevails. It implies the existence of permafrost allowing no agriculture. Nunavik is the largest region covering about a third of the total area of Quebec. No road link exists between the communities of Nunavik and southern Quebec, and between Nunavik communities themselves. We have access to the region and its communities by air travel and by boat.Temporary part-time positionWorking shift on rotation day/evening/week-end 85.75 hrs/28 days - 5.5 days working/14 daysSERVICE: Ulluriaq (boys unit)IMMEDIATE SUPERIOR: Rehabilitation Head of ProgramsDIRECTION: Direction of Regional Rehabilitation ServicesSTARTING DATE: As soon as possibleFUNCTIONS:Works directly to ensure the education and rehabilitation of youth clients placed in rehabilitation Center under YPA or YCJA. In accordance with intervention programs established in collaboration with the existing professional team, with the view of the rehabilitation or reintegration of the clients in the society. Implements educational techniques by using daily living activities and by organising, co-ordinating, animating and leading a scheduled program. In order to ensure the client learning and acquiring suitable attitudes and behaviours. Observes and analyses the client’s behaviour, participates in the evaluation of their needs and abilities, and keeps progress notes and produces appropriate reports.Collaborates with social workers in the development of intervention plans based on the youth needs and the legal mandate entrusted. The goal is to end the compromise situation and avoid multiple placements. As a last resort and in an imminent danger, the educator may have to intervene physically with the clientele.REQUIREMENTS:Class 1: To possess a CÉGEP diploma with a core concentration in specialised educational techniques or institutional rehabilitation or a technique in delinquency intervention from a school recognised by the Ministère de l’Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport.Class 2: hold a bachelor degree in psychoeducation, psychology, criminology, social work degree or another relevant diploma of 14 years of scolarity recognized by the ministère de l’Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport or to have completed fifty per cent (50%) of the specialised educational techniques or institutional rehabilitation or a technique in delinquency intervention.Bilingual English and French, spoken and written.
