Overview:English version will followLe Centre de santé Tulattavik de L’Ungava est situé à Kuujjuaq. Il dispense l’ensemble des services de santé et services sociaux dans la partie est du Nunavik. Il dessert sept communautés Inuites avec autant de CLSC, un centre pour personnes âgées et un centre hospitalier à Kuujjuaq. Il emploie environ 1,000 employés : administrateurs, professionnels, médecins, dentistes, psychologues, infirmiers, travailleurs sociaux, personnel de soutien, employés occasionnels, etc.Les communautés du Nunavik sont situées au nord du 55e parallèle où prévaut un climat subarctique. Il entraîne l’existence d’un pergélisol et ne permet aucune agriculture. Le Nunavik est la plus grande région couvrant environ le tiers de la superficie globale du Québec. Aucune liaison routière n’existe entre les communautés du Nunavik et le Québec méridional, ni entre les communautés du Nunavik elles-mêmes. On a accès à cette région et à ses communautés que par avion et par bateauSTATUT(S) : Liste de rappelSERVICES : Unités de réadaptationSUPÉRIEUR IMMÉDIAT : Chef d’unité en réadaptationDIRECTION : Direction régionale des services de réadaptationDÉBUT DE LA FONCTION : Dès que possibleSOMMAIRE DES FONCTIONS :La personne assure, en milieu de réadaptation pour jeunes en difficulté d’adaptation, placés en vertu de la LPJ ou LSPJA, le support, la sécurité, la surveillance et l’accompagnement auprès des jeunes qui lui sont référés. Elle accueille les jeunes et les assume en moment de crise, de désorganisation ou de besoin d’aide particulière. De plus, elle peut être appelée, en terme de support aux intervenants, à être présent dans le service lorsque la situation l’exige. Elle répond à certains besoins des jeunes en fonction des objectifs de réadaptation poursuivis. Elle intervient physiquement lorsque la situation l’impose et fait des fouilles sur les usagers lorsque demandé, ainsi qu’à l’extérieur et à l’intérieur de l’unité. Elle observe le comportement du jeune et signale ses observations par voie de rapports significatifs à la poursuite du traitement du jeune. Serving seven Inuit communities with an equal number of CLSC, a center for the elderly and the hospital in Kuujjuaq, it employs approximately 1,000 employees: administrators, professionals, doctors, dentists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, support staff, etc.Nunavik communities are located north of the 55th parallel where a subarctic climate prevails. It implies the existence of permafrost allowing no agriculture. Nunavik is the largest region covering about a third of the total area of Quebec. No road link exists between the communities of Nunavik and southern Quebec, and between Nunavik communities themselves. We have access to the region and its communities by air travel and by boat.STATUS : Recall ListSERVICES : Rehabilitation UnitVILLAGES TO FILL : Kuujuaq, Salluit, Puvirnituq, Inukjuak, KuujjuaraapikIMMEDIATE SUPERIOR : Head of Rehabilitation/Group home unitsDIRECTION : Direction of Regional Rehabilitation ServicesSTARTING DATE : As soon as possibleFUNCTIONS :The intervention agent ensure the safety, support and supervision of the youth clients placed within a YPA or YCJA Rehabilitation Center. Welcomes young clients and manages in time of crisis, disruptive behavior, or help in time of special needs. In addition, the intervention agent may be called upon, in terms of support to the interveners, to be present in the department when the situation requires it. Meets some of the needs of young people according to the rehabilitation goals pursued. Intervene physically when the situation requires and proceed with searches on clients when requested and also inside and outside the facility. Observes the behavior of the clients and share observations through significant reports within the continued treatment of the youth.
