Overview:English version will followLe Centre de santé Tulattavik de L’Ungava est situé à Kuujjuaq. Il dispense l’ensemble des services de santé et services sociaux dans la partie est du Nunavik. Il dessert sept communautés Inuites avec autant de CLSC, un centre pour personnes âgées et un centre hospitalier à Kuujjuaq. Il emploie environ 1,000 employés : administrateurs, professionnels, médecins, dentistes, psychologues, infirmiers, travailleurs sociaux, personnel de soutien, employés occasionnels, etc.Les communautés du Nunavik sont situées au nord du 55e parallèle où prévaut un climat subarctique. Il entraîne l’existence d’un pergélisol et ne permet aucune agriculture. Le Nunavik est la plus grande région couvrant environ le tiers de la superficie globale du Québec. Aucune liaison routière n’existe entre les communautés du Nunavik et le Québec méridional, ni entre les communautés du Nunavik elles-mêmes. On a accès à cette région et à ses communautés que par avion et par bateau.Responsibilities:STATUT : Poste à temps complet temporaire - 72.50 heures/période - Durée d’une année avec possibilité de prolongationDATE D’ENTRÉE EN FONCTION : Dès que possibleFONCTIONS :L’auxiliaire aux services de santé et sociaux (ASSS) travaillera aux domiciles de plusieurs clients par jour, assistera les personnes en perte dautonomie dans les tâches reliées à leurs activités de vie quotidienne : Soins dhygiène, bain, toilette partielle au lit, habillement, préparation de repas et assistance pour lalimentation, assurer la prise de médication, répit aux aidants.Qualifications:DEP-Diplôme détudes professionnelles en assistance à la personne en établissement de santé Ou Auxiliaires aux services de santé et sociaux-(ASSS);RCR et PDSB;Bilinguisme anglais/français, parlé et écrit, est essentiel et l’Inuktitut est un atout;1 an d’expérience en maintien à domicile;Facilité et efficacité à travailler en équipe;Capacité d’adaptation à un milieu de travail différent et une expérience de travail en région nordique et/ou dans un autre milieu culturel est un atout;Aimer travailler en contact avec le public et la clientèle en perte d’autonomie physique et cognitive;Avoir une facilité d’écoute et à communiquer;Sens des responsabilités et assiduité;Faire preuve d’initiative, maturité et d’autonomie.Conditions :SALAIRE : 929.09 $ / semainePRIME D’ÉLOIGNEMENT : 203.66 $ / semainePRIME VIE CHÈRE : 61.16 $ / semaineToute personne salariée recrutée au Québec à plus de cinquante (50) kilomètres de la localité où elle est appelée à exercer ses fonctions, aura droit aux sorties annuelles et au logement fourni selon son statut, transit ou logement à partager si la situation le requiert temporairement.***************************************************************************************The Ungava Tulattavik Health Center is located in Kuujjuaq and offers the whole health and social services in the eastern part of Nunavik. Serving seven Inuit communities with an equal number of CLSC, a center for the elderly and the hospital in Kuujjuaq, it employs approximately 1,000 employees: administrators, professionals, doctors, dentists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, support staff, etc.Nunavik communities are located north of the 55th parallel where a subarctic climate prevails. It implies the existence of permafrost allowing no agriculture. Nunavik is the largest region covering about a third of the total area of Quebec. No road link exists between the communities of Nunavik and southern Quebec, and between Nunavik communities themselves. We have access to the region and its communities by air travel and by boat.STATUS: Temporary full-time assignment - 72.50 hours/pay period - For one year with possibility of prolongationSTARTING DATE: As soon as possibleFUNCTIONS:The ASSS will work at the homes of several clients each day, will assist people with loss of autonomy in the tasks related to their life and daily activities: Hygiene, bath, partial toilet in bed, clothing, meal preparation and assistance for food, ensure the taking medication, respite for caregivers.REQUIREMENTS:DEP-Diploma of Vocational Studies in Assistance to Persons in Health Care Institutions or Auxiliary in Health and Social Services (ASSS);CPR and PDSB;Bilingual English / French, spoken and written, is essential and Inuktitut is an asset;1 years’ experience in homecare;Ease and efficiency in teamwork;The ability to adapt to a different work environment and work experience in the Nordic region and / or in another cultural milieu is an asset;Love to work in contact with the public and clients who are losing their physical and cognitive autonomy;Have an easy listening and to communicate;Be responsible and organized;Sense of responsibility and diligence;Demonstrate initiative, maturity and autonomy.Conditions:SALARY: 929.09 $ / weekISOLATION PREMIUM: 203.66 $ / weekHIGH COST OF LIVING: 61.16 $ / weekAny employee recruited in Quebec more than 50 kilometers from the locality in which she/he is called to perform her/his duties, will be granted annual trips (4) and lodging.
