We are building a virtual team of Executive Coordinators Nationally and as such are hiring a Business Operations Manager to provide strategic and tactical leadership, coordination and oversight to this team. We are welcoming applications from remote areas, outside city centres.What will your typical day look likeAs the Business Operations Manager, you will oversee a remote team of executive coordinators and responsible for aligning operations to support achievement of business priorities. You will work virtually with teams to find efficiencies and cost-savings-opportunities, as well as to implement new and innovative ways of working.You are an enthusiastic and inclusive manager, who leads and inspires Business Operations professionals to work to their highest capabilities in order to provide exceptional client service while holding the team accountable for results. You are comfortable shifting gears from tactical discussions and tasks to facilitating strategic conversations about the future of the executive coordinators and how your dynamic team of operations and executive support professionals make a positive impact in the achievement of Deloitte’s priorities.About the teamThe Executive Coordination Services team provides administrative support for several Partners and/or Directors nationally while having the ability to work remotely. The incumbent must be detail oriented, anticipatory, organized, able to accommodate flexible hours, and work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing confidential information. In addition this team works on a variety of projects and tasks, ranging from high-level strategy and execution initiatives.Enough about us, let’s talk about you

  • 4+ years of supervisory experience; experience in professional services an asset
  • Bilingual in English/French is required
  • Experience leading a virtual team Nationally in different time zones is an asset
  • Completed University undergraduate degree in Business, Human Resources or related field is an asset
  • Previous experience leading business change
  • Management experience leading high performing teams, and ability to negotiate through compex issues
  • Experience in workload reallocation and balancing
  • Experience in hiring, managing performance and other human resources activities
  • Excellent 360-degree bilingual verbal and written communication skills, including group presentations
