Overview:English version will followLe Centre de santé Tulattavik de L’Ungava est situé à Kuujjuaq. Il dispense l’ensemble des services de santé et services sociaux dans la partie est du Nunavik. Il dessert sept communautés Inuites avec autant de CLSC, un centre pour personnes âgées et un centre hospitalier à Kuujjuaq. Il emploie environ 1,000 employés : administrateurs, professionnels, médecins, dentistes, psychologues, infirmiers, travailleurs sociaux, personnel de soutien, employés occasionnels, etc.Les communautés du Nunavik sont situées au nord du 55e parallèle où prévaut un climat subarctique. Il entraîne l’existence d’un pergélisol et ne permet aucune agriculture. Le Nunavik est la plus grande région couvrant environ le tiers de la superficie globale du Québec. Aucune liaison routière n’existe entre les communautés du Nunavik et le Québec méridional, ni entre les communautés du Nunavik elles-mêmes. On a accès à cette région et à ses communautés que par avion et par bateau.Responsibilities:Chef de programmes - Résidence pour personnes âgées (Kuujjuaq)STATUT : Poste cadre intermédiaire, temps complet permanent (35 heures/semaine)SUPÉRIEUR IMMÉDIAT : Directeur des services communautairesDÉBUT : Le plus tôt possibleFONCTIONS :Sous l’autorité du supérieur immédiat, la personne planifie, organise, dirige et contrôle les activités et les programmes offerts à la résidence pour personnes âgées ainsi qu’au Centre de jour. Procède à la planification des ressources financières, matérielles, informationnelles et humaines de Tusaajiapik et du Centre de jour en collaboration avec les intervenants associés. En collaboration avec son personnel, les partenaires à l’interne et à l’externe et les intervenants du réseau, elle développe une approche de gériatrie sociale au sein de ses services. Veille à ce que la résidence pour personnes âgées soit un milieu de vie adapté à la culture inuit. Gère les activités relatives aux services dispensés aux usagers inscrits et s’assure de la complémentarité des services offerts avec les autres services de l’établissement et de la communauté. Assure la gestion administrative et la reddition compte des services sous elle et fait les suivis aux personnes concernées. Planifie et coordonne le conseil d’administration de Tusaajiapik et du Centre de jour qui est un organisme communautaire. Revoie et propose une structure organisationnelle conforme à notre clientèle et exigences en vigueur. Sera appeler à collaborer à la mise en place de la Maison des Aînés de Kuujjuaq et en assurer la gestion. Sera appeler à faire de la garde administrative en dehors des heures ouvrables.Qualifications:Baccalauréat en soins infirmiers, la maîtrise en gestion serait un atout;Posséder un minimum de deux (2) années d’expérience pertinente dans le réseau de la santé et des services sociaux auprès de la clientèle en perte d’autonomie. Une expérience exceptionnelle de travail pourra être considérée avec un résultat supérieur à 80 % à l’entrevue;Expérience en reddition de comptes;Expérience dans la gestion d’un organisme communautaire;Minimum de deux ans d’expérience de travail au Nunavik ou en région éloignée;Connaissance de la maladie d’Alzheimer et des divers types de démences;Excellente maîtrise de l’anglais et du français (parlés et écrits). We have access to the region and its communities by air travel and by boat.Head of Programs - Tusaajiapik Elders’ Home (Kuujjuaq)STATUS : Mid-manager position, permanent full-time (35 hours/week)IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR : Director of Community ServicesSTARTING : As soon as possibleUnder the authority of the immediate supervisor, the person plans, organizes, directs and controls the activities and programs offered at the seniors residence and the Day Centre. Plans the financial, material, informational and human resources of Tusaajiapik and the Day Center in collaboration with the associated stakeholders. In collaboration with her staff, internal and external partners and network stakeholders, she develops a social geriatric approach within her services. Ensures that the seniors residence is a culturally appropriate living environment. Manages the activities related to the services provided to registered users and ensures the complementarity of the services offered with the other services of the establishment and the community. Ensures the administrative management and accountability of the services under her responsibility and follows up with the persons concerned. Plans and coordinates the Board of Directors of Tusaajiapik and the Day Center which is a community organization. Review and propose an organizational structure in accordance with our clientele and current requirements. Will be called upon to collaborate in the establishment and management of the Kuujjuaq Elders House.
